All of us have a God-shaped hole in our hearts, and most of us will attempt to fill it with something that is temporal, and doesn't satisfy.
But God made a WAY that you could know him intimately. He came to earth as man in Jesus Christ, walked among us, and willingly died on a cross to pay the debt that we all deserved to pay because of our sin against a holy and perfect God.
Jesus then did what he claimed he would do. He rose on the third day, validating his deity, defeating death, and putting footprints in history that would lead us to him.
When you turn from your own way and follow Jesus (repent), you enter into a relationship with the God who made and loves you. By yielding your will to God’s and following Jesus with your life, the trajectory of your eternity is hijacked, and you can have assurance that you will be with God forever!
Will you simply come to Him?
If you personally agree with and accept the following statements, you can be sure that you have entered into the Eternal life that God promises:
I believe that Jesus is the ONLY Son of God.
I believe that Jesus died on a cross and rose on the third day, defeating sin and death.
I want to trust Jesus with my life and eternity, following him from this day forward.
If you personally agree with those statements, you now can have a relationship with the God who created you, because of His grace and your willingness to yield your life to His will.
We would encourage you to pray to God in the stillness of your heart a prayer like this:
“God, I’m sorry that I have run from you. I acknowledge that I cannot work my way to you, but I thank you for sending Jesus -your only Son- to die on a cross to pay the debt for my sin. I thank you that you raised Him to life on the third day, and from this day forward I intend to follow you with all of my heart, soul, and strength. In Jesus' name, Amen!”
It is not the words of the prayer that save you, but God’s grace and His mercy for his creation. If you truly have changed direction (Repented) from your past and want to follow Jesus, welcome to adoption into the family of God!
